Family Advocate – Safe Families Canada
Karen Stetcher BSW,MSW
Karen spent 40 years with Windsor Essex Children’s Aid Society. After retirement she has become an advocate and facilitator with Safe Families Canada, helping the church to engage with families prior to the need for child protective services. Karen will help us understand how we can live a world where children are safe and families are together.

President of Urban Cry School of Mission
Elizabeth Anderson
Urban Cry School of Mission, is an accredited Bible College that provides a two-year Christian post-secondary ministry apprenticeship in church and community outreach in an urban context.
Elizabeth is also part of the Teaching Team at New Song Church.
Additionally, she is studying toward her Doctorate on Philosophy in Christian Theology.

Dan Collado
Aboriginal Bible Academy provides distance learning for ministry in indigenous settings. Dan also serves with Mission Canada as the Indigenous Peoples Coordinator.

Dr. Gerry Tonn
With over forty years of experience in leadership, pastoral care, and mental health, Gerry has dedicated his life to empowering individuals and organizations to lead with purpose and resilience. As a pastor, professor, and mental health consultant, Gerry brings deep expertise, and practical, compassionate guidance to leaders and communities.
As a trusted consultant, he works closely with pastors in the Western Ontario District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, and teaches over 20 mental health seminars a year, including for the Mental Health Commission of Canada.

Bob and his wife Margo moved into downtown in 2010 to creative alternative ways in loving our neighbours of no fixed address. DWCC has a faith-based mission to enhance the wellbeing of life in the downtown parish. Bob is a community builder and pastor at heart with an active vision to promote good neighbouring.

Feeding Windsor-Essex, an outreach that serves 200,000 meals per year. A core strength of the organization has been Rodger’s ability to collaborate and partner broadly within the religious community and with the social and educational sectors.

Neighbourhood Developers – Downtown Windsor Community Collaborative
Sam & Ruth Rodas-Kamminga
Sam and Ruth are living as neighbours with newcomers in our East Downtown Community, a hot spot for both refugee and migrant settlements. They hear from newcomer neighbours that they miss the community they had in their home countries, and they want to build that sense of community here in Windsor.

Brian splits his time as Outreach Pastor between Parkwood Gospel Church and Parkwood Outreach Centre (downtown). He is a lifelong musician and has decades of bringing people together in music productions. formation there are unique opportunities to strengthen community members.

Director of YQG Kids
Kim Zdunich
Kim is Director of YQG Kids, an urban outreach to children and families in poverty. Their Saturday program meets in a 10,000 square foot space at Ottawa and Moy. Through gospel lessons, games, food and personal contact with the families, Kim and her team are connecting with children that are not being reached by our churches.

Learning and Development Manager at Karis Disability Services
Teresa Stainton
Teresa is the Learning and Development Manager for Karis Disability Services – South District. She will bring an educational and practical perspective on how churches and ministries can better serve people experiencing neurodivergent conditions.

New Song Church
Daniel Beveridge
Daniel has been leading an outreach team in downtown Windsor for several years, first at Lazarus Centre and then New Song Church. Every week his team engage in Spirit led conversations with people on the street.

Windsor Chapter Director of Safe Families Canada
Joanne Fear
Joanne is Executive Director of the Windsor-Essex chapter of Safe Families Canada. Launched locally in 2019, the organization is helping families in crisis receive support and access to community resources. This is providing stability in their homes and helping them maintain custody of their children..
